The Dinner House Menu

During the season the Prospect Hotel Dinner House offers dining in an elegant yet informal atmosphere. Sunset Magazine rated the Dinner House as "the best dinner house between Crater Lake and Medford ". A variety of freshly made dinners will fill the heartiest appetite. Freshly baked bread with fresh from the garden salads will delight every taste.

The Dinner House is open seven nights a week starting in May from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm through October and most Holidays. Reservations are recommended. (See below for a sample dinner menu.)

Sample Dinner Menu

Your dinner will include the following

Antipasto, Wild green salad (Orange Balsamic vinaigrette dressing topped with toasted walnuts and feta cheese, Fresh baked bread, Entrée of choice (with a Veggie Wedgie Frittata), Dessert of the day

Entrées

Lemon Dill Roasted Salmon:  Salmon filet baked with lemon and dill and served with sherried rice

Garlic-Lime Shrimp:  A “party in your mouth” Seasoned shrimp sautéed in butter, garlic, lemon and lime juice. Served with our delicious sherried rice

Roasted Red Pepper Chicken:  Baked chicken topped with a sweet but spiced blend of roasted peppers, served with sherried rice

`Shroomed Chicken a la Karen:  Karen created this Mushroom and Olive Linguine with chicken…so we aptly named this dish after her.  A delightful blend of mushrooms, Kalamata and Greek olives sautéed in garlic, onion and sherry. Piled high on a baked chicken breast served with linguine tossed with a cream sauce and topped with sautéed portabella mushrooms

`Shroomed Vegetarian Linguine:  Karen’s delightful blend of mushrooms, Kalamata and Greek olives sautéed in garlic, onion and sherry added to linguine tossed with a cream sauce and topped with sautéed portabella mushrooms

Prospect Hotel Lasagna:  A traditional Lasagna rich in flavor and delicate in texture with teleme, toma, mozzarella, ricotta and parmesan cheeses, herbs and spices, beef, sausage and our slow cooked marinara sauce

Prospect Hotel Vegetarian Lasagna: This is the same Lasagna as above prepared for our vegetarian guests, rich in flavor and delicate in texture with teleme, toma, mozzarella, ricotta and parmesan cheeses, herbs and spices, and our slow cooked marinara sauce

Wild Green Salad with Chicken:  An extra large portion of Wild Greens served with our Orange Balsamic Vinaigrette and tossed with tender pieces of baked chicken, feta cheese and toasted walnuts
Choice of Garlic Mashed or Baked Potato with the following entrees
Stuffed Pork Loin with Whiskey Sauce Filled with Herb Stuffing, crusted with a savory Hazelnut coating, adorned with a JACK DANIELS sauce.

Signature Prime Rib Slow roasted prime rib served with JACK DANIELS whisky aujus ; Petite cut, Regular cut , orKing cut

Seared Lamb Chops Oregon Local Free Range Lamb, Fed only Green Pastures, No Added hormones or antibiotics. Drizzled with Syrah Peppercorn Sauce, Poised upon Garlic Mashed Potaotes

Grilled Rib Eye Dusted with a tasty mixture of ground peppers and Grilled to perfection just the way you like it.  Try this with Blue cheese butter

Sautéed Mushrooms - side order - Mouth watering mushroom sauté with garlic and onions 

To complement your meal, the Dinner House offers a wonderful selection of Pacifc North West (Oregon and Washington) wines and beers with a focus on Southern Oregon Bounty to lend a special touch to your dinner.
